RECESS
Fall..winter..spring..students go outside for recess. We ask that students come to school prepared with the appropriate attire for playing outdoors (please label your child's gear). During the cold and snow season, children should have coats, snow pants or snowsuits, hats, mittens or gloves, and boots everyday. Outdoor recess continues through the winter months unless it is a severely cold or a stormy day. Students will be going outside for recess when the temperature is 20 degrees and above. That decision is made daily at recess time, so please send your child prepared for outdoor recess every day. Recreational time is not only important for your child’s physical well-being, but is also a time to build friendships. Dress for the weather and let’s play!
Students - NO FLIP FLOPS at school! In order to play on the equipment, your child must have closed toe shoes.
